| Professor Adegboyega Adisa FAWOLE (MBBS Ilorin) is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Ilorin. His main research interests are Gynaecological Oncology and Community Obstetrics. He attended the famous Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos (1973-78), University of Ilorin (1978-84) and had his Postgraduate Medical Residency Training at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (1986-1994). He was appointed Professor at University of Ilorin in March 2014. Professor Fawole has served as Member and Chairman on various Committees in the University of Ilorin and the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. He also served on the University of Ilorin Council as well as the Management Board of the University Teaching Hospital. He is a member of the Council of the West African College of Surgeons. Previous positions held included Head of Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research, Training and Innovation) of the University. Currently, he is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Management Services) of the University of Ilorin. His hobbies are Reading and Games; he is married, with children and grandchildren |
