Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Aboyeji, Abiodun Peter is a Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
His previous administrative appointments include Head Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Member Appointment and Promotion Committee, Faculty Representative on the Boards of the Faculty of Agriculture and Postgraduate School, and Member of the University Senate.
He has also served as Regional Coordinator of WHO-sponsored research, External examiner to several Nigerian Universities, Examiner, Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, West African College of Surgeons. He was a Joint award winner, John J. Sciara International Journal of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (2015) for the best clinical research article from a Low/Middle-income country.
His research interests include Maternal Mortality, Adolescent Health, and Early Pregnancy Complications. He has published over 110 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
