Gafar Abiodun Akanbi JIMOH, is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin almost three decades university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as Head of Department twice, Acting Dean and Acting PROVOST, COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES. His areas of research interest cover Gynaecological `Endocrinology and Infertility(including Assisted Reproduction and Minimal Access Surgery). Also he is involved in Mathematical modelling of gamete functions including AI assisted gamete function/Infertility
He has to his credit over hundred and twenty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, editted conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised over 50 Clinical dissertations for fellowship examinations, 8 Masters and 5 Ph.D. theses. He has equally won a number of research grants. Professor Jimoh is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
